Upon the completion of the course, the student will be able to:

- Create an access list that meets the needs of the users;
- Set up a router with ACL control and network administration features.
- Customize a managed switch with virtual LANs, VLAN Trunking Protocol and
- inter-switch communication to meet specified network requirements;
- Perform entry-level tasks in the planning, design, installation, operation, and
- troubleshooting of Ethernet and TCP/IP Networks;
- Describe Spanning Tree (SPT) algorithm process;
- Utilize the OSI model as a guide for systematic network troubleshooting in a complex
- corporate LAN environment.
